The Story:

This seems like an odd choice for a car guy like myself, but living where I do I needed something that I could drive daily all year round AND get good fuel economy.  The AWD Rav4 fit the bill with 30mpg highway and 23 in town.  I average 28mpg with combination driving, which I am very happy with.  Toyota has a reputation for dependability and I really wanted that.  Not that I am tired of working on cars but it is nice to know that I can just get in and go without worries.  Yes, I now have  car payment after 7 years of not having one, but $250/mo isn’t hard to stomach when I factor in I am saving about $125/mo in gas versus my Tundra.
